The LIOHT INTERFACE UNIT (LIU) or OPTICAL DISTRIBUTION FRAME (ODF) is a versatile solution designed to facilitate cable interconnections between communication facilities. It integrates fiber splicing, fiber termination, fiber optic adapters, connectors, and cable connections into a single, cohesive unit. Additionally, it serves as a protective device, safeguarding fiber optic connections from potential damage.
